Lolita Dark Music Video Contest

Lolita Dark is searching for a lovely lady and a gallant gentleman or a very special couple to serve as visual muses for their upcoming music video on their popular track, “Zesshou!” off of their debut album, Tokyo Status.

To apply, first listen to “Zesshou!” here or buy Tokyo Status on Lolita Dark website and reveal to us in a YouTube video why we should select you and how “Zesshou!” applies to your life. Feel free to email us if you need a translation as well. Be sure to submit the link to your video on our Lolita Dark Facebook page!

A teenage couple’s struggle, survival through peer pressure and addictions caused by their abusive pasts.

How to Enter

Submit the YouTube link to your video on our Lolita Dark Facebook page. Be sure to tell us why we should pick you and how you apply “Zesshou!” to your own life. Be creative and show your personality. If you design your own costumes, please wear samples of them in your video. Be sure to speak clearly and have good lighting.

Be sure to hashtag your video #Zesshoumusicvideo

Contest deadline: The auditions will end on August 11st, 2012 11:59 p.m. PDT, any submissions after that will not be eligible.

Prizes: One male and one female (18+) will be featured in one Lolita Dark music video, wearing an outfit of their own creation. Their name and website will be included in the credits and promotions. If you are not a designer, instead of the name credit, you will be compensated $50 per shoot date. (the shoot should not take longer than one to two days)

Winners Announced: Winners will be notified and announced on Lolitadark.comduring the second week of August.

Eligibility: All videos must be original and created by the entrant. By sending in your video you assert that you are the owner of or have permission to use the footage you have submitted. Lolita Dark staff, judges and their families are not eligible to win. If you are selected please be aware that you will have to sign a confidentiality agreement regarding the video production, music and promotion.

Assignment of Rights: By submitting a video, you grant Lolita Dark perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to that video at our sole discretion, including incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including, without limitation, published books. If you do not wish to grant Lolita Dark these rights, it is suggested that you do not submit a video. Lolita Dark reserves the right to select, edit and arrange submissions, and to remove videos from the Lolita Dark website at any time at its sole discretion.
